Delaware Military Academy's Glass Slipper Project
2009 Prom Closet NOW OPEN and accepting donations
How to make room in your closet and make ball dreams come true . . . .
Here's your chance to help a Delaware Military Academy student be the "Belle of the Ball" at her high school formal. The Glass Slipper Project collects new and gently used formal dresses, shoes and accessories and provides them, free of charge to Delaware Military Academy students who are unable to purchase their own formal attire. We distribute the dresses at Glass Slipper "boutiques", where each student receives individual assistance from a volunteer "personal shopper" as she shops for the dress of her dreams. To date, we've helped more than 100 young women attend their formals in style! We would love to also have donations of hairstyles. A tax deductible receipt is available upon request.
Please drop off any new or gently used (less than 5 years old) dresses to the DMA School Office.
