Gifts of Cash  - the most common methods of giving are to write a check or make a gift using your VISA or MasterCard. Most gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by your personal tax situation. Securities - Many donors realize substantial tax advantages by transferring gifts of appreciated stock to the Delaware Miltary Academy. Capital gains on the amount of appreciation are avoided , and the donor receives a tax deduction for the stock’s full market value. Gifts of real estate are also accepted. Please consult with your tax advisor and our CFO, Kenneth Gatson, if you wish to make a gift of securities or real estate. Matching Gifts - Many companies will match donations to the Delaware Military Academy by their employees. Please contact your employer’s human resources or community relations office to see if your gift can be matched. Naming (or Commemorative) Gifts - Many opportunities exist for funding specific segments of our capital campaign. See the facing list for those opportuntities. Restricted and Unrestricted Gifts - Gifts of any size may be designated for a specific campaign goal or may be left unrestricted. Unrestricted gifts give the Delaware Military Academy the flexibility to allocate funds where and when they are most needed.

This academic wing will also provide classroom spaces for faculty who currently share space with other teachers.  The Monolithic Dome is a full size athletic center designed to provide our cadets with much needed equipment and space to fully maximize their athletic potential.  The new athletic center will incorporate safety mechanisms currently unavailable. We ask you to please give serious consideration in support of this most worthwhile endeavor and know that your contribution to this project will positively affect the lives of future generations of cadets as they prepare to lead our great nation through the 21st century. With warm regards, Anthony Pullella   Edward J. Capodanno    Commandant             Chairman of the Board
DMA has outgrown it’s current facilities and can no longer provide an ehanced curriculum due to a shortage of classroom availablility.  Our athletic programs continue to excel creating an urgent need for an athletic facility.  To that end, DMA has broken ground on a state of the art building featuring a Monolithic Dome design.  In addition the building will also feature an academic wing that will house eight additional classroom spaces to enhance our business technology program and expand our STEM offerings.
